HOKA Speedgoat 2 is a trail running model built for technical terrain. This Dark Chocolate/Black version uses an engineered open mesh upper with synthetic overlays for structure and abrasion resistance, while a reinforced toe bumper adds coverage at the front. A midfoot cage and structured heel integrate with the lace-up closure to hold the foot in place, and a padded collar with contrast lining supports the ankle area. Underfoot, an oversized CMEVA/EVA midsole with approximately 4.5–5 mm drop works with HOKA’s meta rocker geometry and Active Foot Frame to guide the stride. J-Frame support is incorporated to limit inward roll without rigid posts. A Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5 mm multidirectional lugs is configured for grip on both wet and dry surfaces.
