Clarks Originals Desert London GORE-TEX reworks the Desert Boot idea into a low lace-up with a streamlined profile. The Maple Suede upper combines weatherproof suede with a full GORE-TEX membrane to keep water out while allowing airflow. A rounded toe, clean quarters with visible stitching, and a simple lace closure reference traditional postman shoes. Inside, a textile GORE-TEX lining manages moisture, while a leather sock sits directly underfoot. A lightweight EVA layer is placed above a Vibram rubber outsole for cushioning and traction on city streets and rougher ground. Branding is kept minimal with metallic foil on the sockliner and heat-embossed fobs that nod to the Desert Boot line.
