The scent follows a classic olfactory pyramid, moving from bright top notes through a floral heart to a woody base. Bergamot, green apple and blackcurrant leaf open the fragrance with a fresh, green impression before it develops into magnolia, lily of the valley and freesia, with a subtle quince nuance as indicated on the label. The base combines cedar, vetiver and musk to give the composition a dry, woody and soft finish. The fragrance is presented in a clear rectangular glass bottle with slightly rounded shoulders, a cylindrical black cap and a wrap-around mustard yellow label that shows the 201 designation and note structure.
