ASICS GEL-Kayano 20 is a low-top running silhouette that revisits a 2010s technical aesthetic with updated cushioning. This Cream/Independence Blue edition uses an off-white open mesh upper with layered synthetic and TPU overlays for structure and airflow. A FLUIDFIT cage wraps the midfoot with criss-cross overlays over the standard lace closure to create a supportive, adaptive hold. Underfoot, a dual-layer foam midsole combines with visible rearfoot and forefoot GEL inserts for consistent cushioning and impact absorption. The GUIDANCE TRUSSTIC system and Guidance Line groove in the outsole work to stabilize the midfoot and guide the stride, while the rubber outsole adds traction. A padded tongue and collar, textile lining and solution-dyed sockliner complete the interior.
