The North Face HKE Utility Wind Jacket sits in that space between city and trail. Light in the hand, easy to wear, and built to take the edge off wind and passing showers. The 70D shell is made from mostly recycled nylon with a touch of elastane, giving a subtle stretch that moves with you while keeping a clean, structured look.
FLASHDRY™ is used in both the outer fabric and pocket lining to pull moisture away from the body and help it dry quickly, whether you’re moving through the city or out on a hike. Ripstop panels in recycled nylon and polyester reinforce the yoke, upper back and sleeves, adding extra resistance where backpacks and daily wear tend to rub. A non-PFC DWR finish sheds light rain without shutting down breathability, while internal mesh details keep air flowing when the pace picks up.
The hood is elastic-bound and can be packed neatly into the collar when not in use. A reverse-coil front zip, elastic cuffs and a cinch-cord hem with side cord locks allow you to fine-tune the fit against the wind. Two zip pockets keep small essentials close, and subtle heat-transfer logos on the sleeve and back shoulder sit quietly against the Tnf Black colorway. A regular-fit shell that layers easily over a T-shirt or mid-layer when the weather is in-between.
