New Balance 991v2 991LG2 is a low-top evolution of the classic 99X runner with updated cushioning and materials. This Made in UK model is produced in Flimby and uses a layered upper in pigskin suede, mesh and synthetics in a grey palette. Mesh underlays provide ventilation, while the suede mudguard and overlays add structure and protection around the toe and midfoot. A padded mesh tongue with embroidered v2 branding and a cushioned collar support a secure, comfortable fit, and the signature N logo carries subtle debossed line details. Underfoot, the 991v2 combines a full-length FuelCell midsole with ENCAP construction and semi-translucent ABZORB SBS pods for stable, responsive cushioning. An NDurance rubber outsole with defined traction zones is built for regular wear. Reflective accents and the sculpted, cream-toned midsole complete the silhouette.
