La Sportiva TX5 Evo GORE-TEX is built for long days on technical trails. The high-cut profile and structured Nubuck leather create a stable frame around the foot, reinforced by a full rubber rand and solid toe protection when the path turns rocky. Inside, a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps water out while letting heat and moisture escape, making the boot suited to both steep ascents and slow, loaded descents.
Cushioning comes from an injected EVA midsole that softens impact without feeling soft underfoot, supported by STB Control inserts that keep the platform steady under heavier packs. The Vibram MegaGrip outsole with Impact Brake System is tuned for mixed conditions, giving reliable grip and controlled braking on wet slabs, loose gravel and hard-packed trails. Around the ankle, La Sportiva’s 3D Flex System lets the boot move naturally as you walk, while still holding the joint securely on uneven ground. Differentiated lacing with upper hooks makes it easy to fine-tune tension from forefoot to cuff.
