GEL-Kayano 20

ASICS GEL-Kayano 20 revisits a 2010s running silhouette with structured cushioning and support. The model uses a breathable mesh upper with extensive synthetic overlays and a FLUIDFIT cage, where criss-cross TPU elements help secure the midfoot while allowing the mesh to flex. Dual-density foam in the midsole is combined with visible GEL technology in the heel and forefoot to manage impact over longer distances, while the GUIDANCE TRUSSTIC support system adds torsional stability through the arch. An external heel counter and padded collar stabilize the rearfoot, and a segmented rubber outsole with flex grooves supports a continuous roll through the stride. The Independence Blue/Pure Silver colorway combines navy mesh with silver and light-blue overlays, pink accents and a burgundy midsole wrap for a layered technical expression. A solution-dyed sockliner reduces water usage in production and links the running heritage of GEL-Kayano 20 to everyday use.
