ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 brings back a 2010s performance runner with a calm, technical edge. The White/Midnight palette leans into contrast: glossy synthetic leather overlays sit on open mesh underlays, giving a layered, almost reflective look while keeping air moving around the foot. No-sew paneling keeps the upper clean and reduces bulk, so the silhouette stays sharp rather than busy.

Underfoot, a cushioned midsole combines FLYTEFOAM™ with GEL® inserts in both heel and forefoot to soften impact over longer distances. A TPU shank through the midfoot works with ASICS GUIDANCE LINE™ to keep transitions smooth and neutral, whether you’re running or just moving through the day. The outsole mixes hard-wearing carbon rubber at the rear with lighter blown rubber up front, with a defined crash pad to ease landings and roll-through. Inside, a solution-dyed sockliner cuts down on water and dye use in production while adding soft step-in comfort. First released in 2014 as a distance shoe, this reissue keeps the functional running DNA but sits easily in everyday rotation thanks to the clean white base and dark, understated accents.
