New Balance 20027OI reworks the 2002R runner into a weather-ready lifestyle model. The upper combines a GORE-TEX layer with open mesh windows and layered hairy suede overlays, cut with raw, jagged edges in the familiar Protection Pack style. The Stucco colorway sets wheat and tan suede over brown and grey mesh, finished with reflective silver N logos and subtle 2002R branding at the lateral heel. Underfoot, an ABZORB midsole with ABZORB SBS in the heel and visible N-ergy pods provides cushioning and impact absorption, supported by a sculpted stability element through the arch. A padded tongue and collar, perforated suede panels near the heel and a segmented rubber outsole complete the construction.
