ASICS GEL-1130 revisits a 2008 stability running design in a form suited to everyday use. This Dark Brown/Midnight edition pairs an open black mesh upper with layered suede and synthetic overlays in brown and charcoal tones for a technical, trail-oriented expression. The mesh base contributes to airflow, while structured overlays and a molded heel counter help maintain support and shape. An EVA midsole with visible GEL cushioning in the heel provides impact absorption, supported by a TRUSSTIC system that adds midfoot stability and limits torsion. A rubber outsole with multi-directional tread is configured for grip on varied urban surfaces, and a dope dyed sockliner reduces water usage and emissions in production. The model is finished with a padded tongue and collar for a cushioned feel around the ankle.
