Salomon XT-Whisper is a technical trail-running silhouette with a low-top, robust profile that carries the XT line into everyday use. This Almond Milk/Ftw Silver/Lava F version features a breathable 3D mesh upper with synthetic overlays and wavy TPU lines, backed by Anti-debris Mesh to help keep particles out. Salomon’s SensiFIT construction works with the Quicklace toggle system to hold the foot from midsole to lacing, while a reinforced rubber toe cap and structured heel counter add protection and support. Underfoot, the Agile Chassis System is combined with an EnergyCell midsole for impact dampening and stability, and a removable OrthoLite diecut sockliner adds cushioning and airflow. A lugged Mud Contagrip outsole with chevron lugs is configured for grip on loose and uneven surfaces, with an 11 mm drop and a weight of around 290 g per shoe.
