New Balance 204L U204L5WZ references 70s running styles and early 2000s design language in a low-top silhouette. The upper combines suede and mesh, with layered charcoal and black suede overlays on an olive mesh base for structure and airflow. Embossed overlays, screen-printed graphics along the saddle and double-stacked synthetic leather elements add visual depth to the streamlined profile. A large reflective N logo and reflective heel details provide visibility in low light. Underfoot, the model uses a 2000s-inspired strike path aimed at natural foot motion and a tread pattern influenced by 70s marathon racers, forming a lightweight rubber outsole with small lug-style traction pods. A padded collar, padded tongue and traditional lace-up closure complete the everyday-focused construction.
