La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3 GORE-TEX is built for long days in the mountains, where the terrain shifts from rock to mud to loose gravel without warning. This low-cut hiking shoe keeps a technical edge, pairing a Cypress/Black rip-stop upper in 100% recycled nylon with a GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort membrane that shuts out water while letting heat escape. Inside, a soft mesh lining and Ortholite® Hybrid™ Mountain Hiking 5mm insole create a stable, cushioned feel next to the foot, even when the pace stays high.
The dual-density EVA midsole is tuned for distance: a softer foam underfoot for comfort, with a firmer heel section for support and control on uneven ground. Protection is built in with a rubber toe cap, a lateral protective rand and dual external TPU heel counters that lock the rearfoot in place and help fend off sharp rocks. Underneath, the FriXion White outsole with Impact Brake System™ uses flex grooves and angled lugs to find grip, release mud and manage braking on both climbs and descents. A padded collar with an integrated gaiter seals the ankle and keeps debris out, making the Ultra Raptor 3 GORE-TEX an easy match for technical outdoor gear or functional everyday layers.
