The Gazelle was originally released in 1968 as an all-round runner. Its popularity quickly rose among athletes because of the great lightweigted comfort. The low silhouette has been modified a bit, but the overall vibe is still the same as originally. The iconic 3 stripes adorns the side of the sneakers, and hip hoppers, b-boys, rappers, supermodels, a young Micheal Jackson - even James Bond himself - have been seen wearing a pair of Gazelle.
