Classic Casentino wool meets The North Face utility. This six-panel hat is cut from dense 415 g/m² Casentino wool in deep black, sourced from Tuscany for the crown, interior and bill. The traditional curled surface gives the fabric its coarse texture, helping to hold warmth, resist everyday wear and naturally shed light moisture.
Technical details are kept discreet. A recycled nylon sweatband sits inside, treated with a non-PFC water-repellent finish to handle sweat and passing showers. The underside of the brim uses WindWall™ to cut wind and add a bit more weather protection where it counts. An adjustable webbing back-strap with a branded buckle and metal eyelets lets you fine-tune the fit. Finished with an embroidered front logo and an interior Casentino authenticity patch, it pairs easily with technical shells or simple winter layers.
