New Balance 991DL2 is part of the Made in UK line and updates the 991 runner with revised cushioning and materials. The 991v2 construction uses a layered upper in pigskin suede, mesh and synthetic elements, with light taupe suede overlays, darker mesh underlays and subtle lavender accents in the Cement colorway. Underfoot, a sculpted midsole combines a full-length FuelCell foam unit with visible ABZORB SBS pods in the heel and ENCAP construction. A TPU heel counter, padded collar and tongue, flat cotton laces and reflective details support the technical look, while debossed line work on the N logo adds definition. The model is finished with an NDurance rubber outsole and is handcrafted at New Balance’s Flimby factory in England.
