adidas Adistar Control 5 revisits a 2000s stability running design in a Gretwo/Cblack/Silvmt colourway. The low-top silhouette uses a double-layer open mesh upper in silver and grey with a 3D bubble structure, reinforced by metallic synthetic overlays and a lateral cage with vertical black bars for structured support. A padded tongue, collar and textile lining frame the foot, while a lace closure sits over a cushioned sockliner. Underfoot, an EVA midsole is combined with Adiprene+ in the forefoot, working with a Torsion system and Pro-Moderator-style midfoot control elements to address overpronation. FORMOTION-inspired shaping and a visible shank piece sit within the segmented midsole, with rubber outsole pods and flex grooves providing traction.
