The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Vest is an insulated layer with a boxy, waist-length silhouette and horizontal baffles. The design references the original 1996 Nuptse and uses a 100% recycled nylon ripstop body with a recycled nylon taffeta overlay at the upper yoke, both finished with a non-PFC DWR treatment for light weather protection. The vest is filled with 700 fill recycled waterfowl down for compressible insulation in a relatively lightweight construction. A high, padded stand collar and full-length exposed VISLON® front zipper close the front, while two slanted hand pockets with zip closures offer covered storage. Bound armholes and a straight hem keep the shape defined, with subtle 700 embroidery at the lower hem and an embroidered chest logo as understated details.
