New Balance 20023MB is a low-top version of the 2002R running-inspired silhouette, updated with weather-resistant construction and a monochrome black palette. The upper combines pig suede, breathable mesh and synthetic overlays in the jagged pattern associated with the 2002R Protection Pack. A GORE-TEX® membrane is integrated into the upper for waterproof performance with ventilation, backed by a soft French terry lining. The sculpted midsole incorporates ABZORB cushioning with ABZORB SBS in the heel, while the N-ergy outsole and segmented heel pods contribute to impact absorption and durability. Stability Web technology in the midfoot adds torsional support, and a padded tongue and collar frame the lace-up closure. The predominantly black colourway is finished with a silver N logo and subtle grey detailing.
