Dr. Martens San Mule is a backless leather mule with a pared-back everyday expression. The silhouette is built on the 90s-inspired San sole and features a smooth black Orleans leather upper with a subtle waxed surface that will develop visible creasing over time. The upper is kept clean and almost seamless, with tonal stitching along the center line as the main design detail. Underfoot, the model combines a rubber outsole with Dr. Martens’ air-cushioned sole to support daily wear and traction. Goodyear welted construction heat-seals and stitches the upper to the sole, adding structure to the open-heel, closed-toe design.
