BEAMS JAPAN Lucky Charm Doll Dharma 15cm brings classic Japanese symbolism into a clean, compact object for everyday spaces. The rounded 15cm figure is hand-painted in a warm orange tone with indigo detailing that nods to traditional daruma artwork, giving it a quiet presence on a shelf, desk or windowsill. True to the original ritual, the eyes are left blank: one is filled in when setting a goal, the other when it’s achieved. Rooted in the story of Bodhidharma, the founder of Zen Buddhism, the doll is associated with perseverance, resilience and good fortune, while the orange palette is used to signal happiness and long-term prosperity.
