adidas Wensley SPZL is a low-top silhouette informed by vintage indoor and fencing shoes. The upper combines hairy suede overlays with nylon underlays in an asymmetrical construction, creating a layered look in the Utigre/Owhite/Gum5 colorway. Long-nap suede covers the T-toe, eyestay and heel, while smooth white leather forms the serrated 3-Stripes and heel tab. Inside, a leather lining and lightly padded nylon tongue sit alongside a padded collar for a close, regular fit. Underfoot, a foam-cushioned midsole sits on a gum rubber outsole, constructed using Cold Cement methods for a flexible, low-profile feel. A continuous suede mud guard running beneath the stripes adds structure and protection around the shoe.
