ASICS GEL-Quantum Kinetic is a technical sneaker with a 2000s-inspired running profile. This Pepper/Cement Grey edition pairs an open mesh base with layered synthetic leather overlays for a breathable, structured upper. Integrated ASICS side stripes, reflective details and a padded tongue and collar reference the brand’s performance line, while an internal heel counter helps stabilize the rearfoot. Underfoot, FF BLAST cushioning works with full-length Scutoid GEL technology, using 3D geometry and an off-axis structure to manage impact during daily use. A cream-toned midsole is framed by segmented, smoky grey GEL pods along the perimeter, with rubber traction zones positioned in key contact areas. The model is developed with input from the ASICS Institute of Sport Science and draws on heritage running styles such as GEL-NIMBUS and GEL-KINSEI.
