New Balance 740GS2 is a low-top sneaker that revisits an early 2000s running silhouette in a streamlined form. The Grey colorway uses a tonal palette across an open mesh upper with layered synthetic and leather overlays that add structure. The mesh base keeps the shoe breathable, while reflective accents and a molded TPU N logo introduce technical detailing. Underfoot, an ABZORB midsole combines foam and compression resistance for cushioning, supported by a visible TPU shank at the midfoot for added stability. A wide base and generous toebox height contribute to a stable fit suited to extended wear. The segmented rubber outsole provides grip with black traction pods at the forefoot and heel.
