HOKA Mafate Three2 Wordmark is a trail-focused silhouette that connects archival Mafate design with updated cushioning. The model pairs a Mafate Speed 2 bottom unit with a Mafate 3-inspired upper for a structured, low-top profile suited to mixed terrain and daily use. An engineered mesh upper in the Black / Outer Orbit colorway is reinforced with hot melt overlays and an exoskeletal cage that wraps the midfoot and heel, while a rubberized toe bumper and protective rand add abrasion resistance. A quick lace system with toggle works with an internal gusseted tongue, padded collar and TPU-reinforced heel to secure the foot. Underfoot, a compression molded EVA midsole features a symmetrical, rockered platform with a 4 mm drop, supported by an Active Foot Frame and wide base for moderate stability. A Vibram Megagrip outsole with aggressive lugs provides traction on varied surfaces. The construction uses only synthetic materials.
