Hida Low

ROA Hida Low sits between trail shoe and technical approach sneaker. Built for lightweight mountaineering and trekking, it keeps a low profile while staying rigid enough for uneven ground. The Vibram Litebase sole cuts weight by using a thinner rubber layer, but still delivers the grip and durability needed on rock, wet paths and loose surfaces.

The upper mixes reflective Cordura textile with polyamide, rubber and TPU overlays, creating a tough shell that handles abrasion and adds visibility in low light. Inside, an OrthoLite X-40 insole brings open-cell cushioning and breathability for longer days on foot. A low-cut silhouette keeps movement agile, whether you are on the trail or moving through the city.

Functional details are kept clean and precise: a stretch mesh pocket on the tongue to tuck away laces, a front lace system for secure adjustment, and a heel pull tab for easy on and off. At the back, a TPU spoiler works with semi-automatic crampons, pointing clearly to the shoe’s alpine intent. Finished in all black, Hida Low pairs easily with technical outerwear or stripped-back everyday pieces.
