New Balance RC42SD is a low-profile sneaker that references 1970s running and terrace styles in a Marsh Green colorway. The upper pairs suede overlays with textile underlays for a slim, retro runner silhouette, with tonal stitching, a reinforced toe bumper and a heel overlay for added structure. An oversized white N logo is placed on the quarter, while flat laces, a padded collar and a padded tongue secure the fit. Inside, a textile lining and a removable cushioned footbed sit on an EVA midsole with a light wedge shape. Underfoot, a gum rubber outsole provides traction with a low tread pattern that keeps the profile streamlined.
