Reflective details at the toe, heel and tongue emphasize the panelled construction and add low-light visibility. Underfoot, a full-length FuelCell midsole sits on ENCAP cushioning, where softer foam is framed by a firmer rim for support. ABZORB SBS pods are placed in the heel and forefoot to handle impact, while an NDurance rubber outsole with defined tread patterns provides grip and durability. A slightly wider midsole and padded collar contribute to a stable fit that references the original 2001 991 in a more streamlined form.
