ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 is a low-top sneaker that revisits a 2008 long-distance running design with updated tooling for everyday use. The upper combines open mesh with synthetic leather overlays in an asymmetric layout that follows the foot’s shape. In the Cream/Grove colorway, silver mesh is combined with quilted green panels and black Tiger Stripes with metallic edging for a clear Y2K reference. Underfoot, a dual-layer EVA foam midsole works with visible GEL technology in the heel and forefoot to absorb impact and deliver consistent cushioning. A TRUSSTIC system in the midfoot adds torsional stability, while a rubber outsole with segmented traction supports grip. A dope-dyed recycled mesh sockliner reflects ASICS’ ongoing material updates.
