STORA SKUGGAN Silphium is an eau de parfum built around a reconstructed silphium accord inspired by historical descriptions of the extinct plant. The fragrance is presented in a clear rectangular glass bottle with a bright yellow liquid and an oversized spherical cap with a marbled swirl pattern in lime, black and white. The composition opens with silphium accord and cistus, followed by a spiced heart of cinnamon, tobacco, geranium, black pepper, ginger and clove. Frankincense, cedarwood, myrrh and leather form a resinous, slightly smoky base. Silphium is hand-blended in Stockholm at eau de parfum concentration.
