New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro is a trail-running model built for use on uneven ground. The low-top silhouette features an engineered mesh upper with seamless overlays and a tonal topographic-inspired pattern that adds structure while keeping weight down. A reinforced toe bumper and wrapped rand help shield against rocks and debris, and the padded collar, tongue and rear pull tab support step-in comfort and a secure feel. Underfoot, a dual-density Fresh Foam X midsole places a softer foam layer above a firmer base to create stable, rockered cushioning over longer distances. The Vibram Megagrip rubber outsole uses pronounced lugs and an extended heel for traction on wet and dry trails. Finished in monochrome black, the Fresh Foam X Hierro carries trail-focused detailing into everyday use.
