ASICS UB12-S GEL-SD-Lyte is a low-top sneaker that reworks an early-2000s running silhouette with contemporary SportStyle detailing. The upper combines open-hole mesh with layered mesh underlays and synthetic leather panels, creating a structured cage that stabilises the foot while allowing airflow. In the Lichen Rock/Black Coffee colourway, darker overlays frame lighter mesh zones with pale yellow accents that define the ASICS side stripes and piping. Rubberised elements around the midfoot and lacing system reinforce high-wear areas, while a padded tongue with pull tab and standard lace-up closure secure the fit. Underfoot, an EVA foam midsole is paired with rearfoot GEL technology for impact absorption, supported by a visible shank element at the arch for torsional stability.
