ASICS GEL-1130 references late 2000s running design in a low-top, lace-up silhouette. The upper combines breathable synthetic mesh with layered high-gloss synthetic leather overlays that frame the toe, midfoot and heel for added structure. An EVA foam midsole is paired with visible GEL technology in the heel, while the TRUSSTIC support system sits under the midfoot to help control torsion. A rubber outsole with defined traction zones and flex grooves is configured for everyday use on varied surfaces. Inside, a solution-dyed sockliner reduces water usage in production, and the upper incorporates recycled materials as part of a more responsible construction. The sculpted heel counter, ASICS side stripes and slightly chunky midsole emphasise the technical runner aesthetic.
