ASICS GEL-NYC 2.0 SSHS is a low-top sneaker that connects 2000s running design with contemporary cushioning. This Mahogany/Black version uses a breathable brown mesh base with brick-toned leather and suede overlays, supported by synthetic and TPU paneling for structure. Referencing the GEL-1050, the layered upper features a black TPU midfoot cage with stud detailing and integrated eyelets, along with reflective accents on heel and tongue. The speckled midsole combines GEL technology with FF BLAST PLUS foam, while a TPU TRUSSTIC element and walking-focused flex grooves sit underfoot. A rubber outsole with segmented lugs and an extended toe bumper provides surface grip. The model is finished with a padded tongue and collar, round flecked laces and subtle ASICS branding.
