ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 picks up where the original 2008 model left off, bringing a distinct 2000s running aesthetic into a more considered, everyday context. The layered upper combines leather, synthetic overlays and open mesh for a structured feel with plenty of airflow, while the Cream/Obsidian Grey palette keeps the technical look grounded and easy to wear. Underfoot, visible GEL cushioning handles impact, supported by a TRUSSTIC system through the midfoot that keeps the shoe stable without feeling heavy. The fit has been subtly updated from the first release, giving a more secure, comfortable hold while staying true to the familiar Kayano silhouette. At least 20% of the synthetic leather is recycled, and the solution-dyed sockliner cuts down on water use and emissions in production. The result is a running-informed sneaker with a neutral, versatile look that moves easily between sportswear and everyday rotation.
