New Balance 991OW2 is a low-top reinterpretation of the original 2001 991, produced in the UK with updated cushioning and refined construction. The upper combines light grey pigskin suede overlays with white mesh underlays for a layered, technical expression. Signature details include the large N logo with reflective trim, an oval 991 heel badge and additional reflective elements on the heel tab for visibility in low light. Underfoot, a full-length FuelCell midsole works with ENCAP support and ABZORB SBS pods to create a cushioned, stable platform with a sculpted 2000s-inspired profile. An NDurance rubber outsole adds traction and durability, while the padded tongue, collar and removable insole contribute to a comfortable fit. The white and light grey palette is finished with an off-white midsole and dark grey heel cap.
