New Balance RC56FFC is a low-profile sneaker that reworks an early-2000s cross-country spike into a contemporary everyday model. The upper combines perforated leather and nylon mesh for structure and airflow, supported by synthetic and leather overlays that trace curved lines across the shoe. An N-lock lacing system links the side branding with the eyelets to stabilize the midfoot, while 3D welded eyelets reinforce high-stress areas. Underfoot, the RC56FFC uses a FuelCell foam midsole, paired with a PU foam footbed for added cushioning. A treaded rubber outsole provides traction on varied surfaces and completes the streamlined silhouette in the Sea Salt colorway.
