New Balance T500DA is a low-top sneaker that revisits a 1982 tennis silhouette with a clean, court-informed design. The model features a pigskin suede and nubuck upper with smooth leather-style paneling and perforations at the toe box and quarter for ventilation. The Sea colorway combines a white base with an orange N logo, orange heel tab and a light grey suede heel counter for subtle contrast on the retro profile. Underfoot, a polyurethane midsole is paired with a gum rubber cupsole with a stitched edge and herringbone traction pattern, originally developed for grip and pivot movements on court. A countered polyurethane footbed and padded tongue and collar support everyday wear, while the woven tongue label and embossed New Balance branding at the heel and midsole keep the T500DA close to its archive reference.
