adidas Adistar Control 5 revisits early-2000s stability running design in a contemporary lifestyle format. The low-top silhouette uses an open mesh upper with synthetic and metallic overlays in a Preblu/Dbrown/Grefiv palette, creating a layered structure with airflow across the foot. A molded TPU cage wraps the midfoot and heel with vertical ribs for targeted support, while a padded tongue and collar contribute to a cushioned step-in. Underfoot, an EVA midsole is combined with ADIPRENE+ cushioning in the forefoot, and a Torsion bar is integrated through the midfoot for added stability. At the heel, a FORMOTION unit is set within the sculpted midsole to manage impact, working together with the segmented rubber outsole for traction and flexibility. adidas branding appears on the tongue and heel.
