The Slip-On Reissue 98 LX revisits one of Vans’ earliest icons with a quiet upgrade in comfort. This version keeps the familiar checkerboard canvas in a low, easy shape, but refines the details for everyday wear. An 8 oz. upper keeps things light, while full grain leather around the collar gives a smoother feel against the ankle. Elastic side panels handle the on-off routine, and the shorter vamp with adjusted collar height nods directly to early Style 98 lines from the archives.

Underfoot, the Sola Foam All-Day-Comfort insole adds soft, durable cushioning, made with at least 30% biobased PU foam. A higher sidewall with a subtle gloss finish adds structure without losing the classic profile, and original 90s-style foxing tape with Osnaburg reinforcement quietly anchors the design. Finished with the signature waffle outsole and woven flag label, it sits easily with straight-leg denim, chinos or shorts when you want a simple, everyday slip-on.
