New Balance 1906WFD is a low-top running-inspired sneaker with a slightly chunky retro profile. The triple black colorway combines an open mesh upper with layered synthetic overlays in a webbed lattice pattern for structure and airflow. A sculpted ACTEVA LITE midsole provides lightweight cushioning, while visible N-ergy pods in the heel support impact absorption. A glossy TPU heel counter stabilizes the rearfoot, working with the reinforced toe bumper and padded collar for a secure feel. Underfoot, a segmented rubber outsole with multiple flex grooves supports traction and natural flex.
