Dr. Martens Adrian is a tassel loafer that combines the brand’s polished leather with its familiar air-cushioned sole. The upper is crafted from Black Polished Smooth leather, a high-shine material with a firm hand. A moc-toe construction with raised stitching, kiltie fringe and twin tassels gives the silhouette a traditional loafer expression, while a slim, tapered footbed keeps the profile narrow and streamlined. The shoe sits on a chunky PVC outsole with a low block heel, translucent brown finish and lightly lugged tread. Upper and sole are joined with Goodyear welt construction, where they are heat-sealed and stitched. The air-cushioned sole provides step-in softness and resistance to oil, fat, abrasion and slips.
