The sneaker manages to combine sportswear and vintage in one design, that fits nicely with the current fashion trends. The 1906 R silhouette is named after the year New Balance was founded and is seen as a tribute to the brand's impressive history.
It is clear that the 1906 model leaves deep traces in the brand's history and has been the foundation for a new wave of retro silhouettes, together with the New Balance 2002R, which had a huge comeback and breakthrough in the recent years.
