VANS Old Skool LX is a low-top skate silhouette that updates a familiar design with adjusted materials and construction. The upper combines 8-ounce canvas and cow suede, with checkerboard Black/White canvas quarters framed by black suede at the toe, eyestay and heel. A smooth white leather Sidestripe™ sits alongside white cotton laces and contrast stitching. The padded collar is lined with full-grain leather for a more substantial feel around the ankle. Underfoot, the vulcanized build features a gloss-coated sidewall and foxing tape above Vans’ rubber waffle outsole. A SOLA FOAM ADC insole made from high-rebound polyurethane with 30% bio-based content provides cushioning.
