Mafate Speed 2 Ts

HOKA Mafate Speed 2 Ts is built for long days on uneven ground. The design leans into HOKA’s maximal trail DNA, combining soft cushioning with a stable, structured feel underfoot. In Black / Carbon Black, it sits quietly in a rotation of trail gear and functional outdoor pieces.

The upper mixes mesh, ripstop nylon and monomesh for a light, breathable shell that still holds up against rocks and branches. A molded synthetic leather cage wraps the midfoot, while a no-sew SpeedFrame construction keeps everything streamlined. An external monomesh screen helps keep out debris, and a TPU heel counter locks in the rearfoot when the terrain tilts or turns.

Underfoot, a CMEVA midsole works with HOKA’s early stage MetaRocker geometry to guide each step from heel to toe with less effort. The deep Active Foot Frame and wide base create a stable platform, with J-Frame support subtly guiding the foot to reduce inward roll on longer runs. A Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5 mm lugs and flex grooves handles wet slabs, loose gravel and dry hardpack with the same calm, predictable grip. Reflective hits and 3D screenprint details finish a technical trail silhouette that moves easily between performance use and everyday outdoor wear.
