Salomon X-ALP LTR is a low-top outdoor model intended for mixed terrain and daily use. This version in Black/Vanilla Ice/Rainy Day combines a suede and textile upper with a trail-inspired sole unit. Light stone panels are reinforced by a black wraparound rubber rand and a toe bumper that adds structure and protection at ground contact points. Inside, a textile lining and an OrthoLite insole support step-in comfort and moisture management. Underfoot, Salomon’s 3D Edging Chassis works with the stitched lateral Power Band to stabilize the foot laterally while keeping the forefoot flexible on uneven surfaces. A thick midsole with InfiniFOAM cushioning sits above a fully recyclable Contragrip rubber outsole with pronounced lugs for traction on mixed surfaces. Metal eyelets, round laces and a padded mesh collar complete the functional build.
