Salomon Speedcross 3 is a trail running model intended for soft, uneven terrain. This Safari/Safari/Black edition combines a breathable mesh and ripstop-style textile upper with synthetic overlays that form the Sensifit™ cage around the midfoot. A reinforced toe cap, protective mudguard and external heel support frame contribute to structure on rocky or muddy ground. Salomon’s Quicklace™ system with a central toggle allows fast, even tightening, while a padded collar and molded OrthoLite® sockliner add underfoot cushioning. An injected EVA midsole with an 11 mm drop sits above a lightweight chassis for impact absorption and support. The Mud and Snow Contagrip® outsole uses aggressive, chevron-shaped lugs for traction on loose, wet or technical surfaces. A monochrome sand upper and outsole with black detailing gives the silhouette a restrained, utilitarian appearance.
