New Balance 1906NJ revisits a 2009 running design with updated cushioning and a monochrome black finish. The low-top silhouette pairs an open mesh upper with layered synthetic and TPU overlays for a structured, breathable construction with a technical expression. An N-Lock style webbing system links the large side N logo to the lacing to support the midfoot, while a padded tongue with RUNNING branding and a cushioned collar frame the ankle. Underfoot, an ACTEVA LITE midsole works with ABZORB SBS heel pods and N-ergy cushioning to manage impact, supported by a Stability Web shank under the arch. A segmented rubber outsole with pronounced traction lugs is configured for grip and wear in everyday use.
