Insect Shield Jacket

Snow Peak’s Insect Shield Jacket is built for warm days outside when the air is still and the bugs are not. The lightweight mesh construction in recycled polyester keeps air moving across the body while still forming a clear barrier between skin and insects. A permanent Insect Shield treatment is woven into the fabric, using a permethrin-based repellent that stays effective over time instead of sitting on the surface.

The hood is fixed and zips right up to the chin to create a calm zone around head and neck, and thumbholes at the cuffs keep the sleeves anchored while covering the backs of the hands. Two zipped hand pockets hold small essentials close, and reinforced panels at the shoulders, elbows and forearms handle straps, branches and regular wear. Cut for a unisex fit, it works cleanly over a T-shirt or under a light shell for hiking, camping and long evenings outside.
